I don’t know… let’s find out.
I just loaded up a new application for the virtual tour that allows you to put furniture in the rooms. Are you wondering if you can get you furniture into the space?
This is so cool. Click here… And then when the floor plan loads up, you can grab furniture from the sidebar and place it in the rooms. If the furniture is a little bigger or smaller than yours… you can re-size it so that it is accurate.
This is a new feature on my listings. It allows a prospective buyer (or anyone else that is curious) to play with the property and see how livable it may be for them. Also available on the virtual tour is the StyleDesigner, which allows you to re-paint a couple of the rooms virtually.
It’s all free to play with…
Ok, I mean virtually…
On the virtual tour, there is a feature called StyleDesigner. The StyleDesigner allows you to go in and paint the walls and trim, as well as change the floors, and even the counters in the kitchen… with just a couple of mouse clicks.
This is seriously fun. To start with, it is a great tool to visualize having a different color on the wall. Of course, the condo already has fabulous wood floors, but if you wanted to see tile or carpet… you can.
And coming soon is the SpaceDesigner… a virtual floor plan that will let you move furniture around in it.
Enjoy.
Work is done, and it is time for the weekend…
You walk out of the office, and hop in the car. Driving home takes all of 10 minutes… and you get to park in the cool shade under the building.
5:10pm… you are home.
Run in, kick back for a minute. Twitter a few friends… (they’re still in traffic trying to get out to the burbs…)
5:18pm… time for a dip.
Toss on a swim suit, grab a towel and flip flops… Head out for the pool. Atlanta is hot. The pool is cool. What could be better than sitting next to the pool after a quick dip. Twitter your friends again… (they’re still in that traffic…)
6:30pm… ok, gotta get ready.
You are having dinner with a couple of those friends that JUST got home. Reservations at Straits at 7:30.
7:20pm… it is a beautiful night.
And it is a short walk. No valet. No hunting for a parking spot. No cab. Just a short stroll to the restaurant.
7:30pm… it is SO nice not to be rushed.
Your friends arrive. They look harried. They have been constantly running since you all took off from the office. You rested a bit, swam and took a nice walk. They drove in traffic, changed and drove in traffic some more.
End of the evening… and it is only a short walk home.
Whether you stayed at Straits, or any of the other fabulous restaurants in this area of Midtown, or went to one of the great clubs on Peachtree near 10th, you are almost home. You will be sleeping restfully while your friends are still driving to Alpharetta… or Lawrenceville… or Decatur… or Marietta.
Intown living has its advantages…
